Charlotte is a woodcut printmaker whose work focuses on capturing fleeting moments in built environments, inviting viewers to rediscover the beauty inherent in everyday life. Her printmaking process follows a unique combination of analogue photographic techniques and reductive woodcut printmaking. She transfers her own 35mm photographs onto plywood before transforming them into many layered intricate prints. This slow, process-driven approach allows her to reinterpret ordinary moments, shifting their meaning through mark-making, tone, and colour. She is based in London
